October is breast cancer awareness month

Would you like to take out your camera and join us to do somethings for the breast cancer awarness month?

Yes, a photo project is held by a Chinese magazine to appeal the concerns of breast cancer. In this plan, we decided to invite the world photographers(profession and amateur) to shoot pictures under some themes about woman's breast.

Once your pictures are selected by editor, they will be print on the magazine in the special issue of October. Then a copy of magazine and some fee(pay in Chinese RMB, not much but a way to show our appreciation) will be sent to you.

Here we just give out some directions but not restrictions, except that the breast which will appear in your photos should be naked or just half -covered. take your pictures freely with imaginations.

here're 2 different kinds of pictures of women's breasts that will be chosen to be print in Trends Health magazine.

1, be serious
Breasts in disasters: not only the breasts of breast cancer, but also in some diseases that have destroied women's body and breasts, for example: AIDS.

Breasts in roles and relationships:
ordinary women in their roles of common lives: daughter(girls curious about their growing breast), wife(breast in love), mother(feed baby), worker, driver, office lady ...

2, be creative

Breast in art
Breast in culture
Breast in mood

the demand of the quality of pictures

please take pictures in a high quality, once your pictures have been chosen by magazine, they will be print in a high resolution. So the size of each picture must not smaller than 2500x 1800 under the resolution of digital camera which is 72dpi.

resolution: 72dpi
size:(bigger than) 2500x 1800
deadline: August. 15, 2004

If you would like to take a part, please write me an email, kehengch@yahoo.com.

looking for a window

ever heared of a fable about a cat who was looking for the season of spring in winter, he believed that the spring was behind one of the windows of the castle and tried his best to open up those windows one by one. Finally he got exhausted and died before open the last window, and of course, spring was behind the last one because winter passed away.

but this cat's name is bumper, her mom is lena and I'm her aunt. of course she never think about window things, but she like flying in the apartment and always brake suddenly like a real bumper.

perfect ! Sat 17-Jul-2004 00:23

saving smiles

thanks for the coming of Team Rotaplast of US, those great doctors brought smiles back to the children with inborn flaws again. As a journalist, my camera and I witnessed this event. That's why I love my job.

Thanks again.

They did a great job to provide a smile again. You captured it nicely.
